Summary:
At 1208Z (7:08 A.M.), I noticed Charlie who was acting silly, digging in
the ground and jumping around, as he worked his way over to the Scots
pine trees to eat pine cones.
Meanwhile, two other squirrels were foraging the Ponderosa pine (Pinus ponderosa) on the other side of the garden.
One of whom was female who has nipples showing.
The Ponderosa pine cones are a little bigger than the Scots pine cones.
(It took the female 4-10 minutes to finish eating one.) As some
squirrels were eating Scots pines and some were eating Ponderosa, I
can't tell which they like better.
The Black Walnuts (Juglans nigra) are coming along, but I don't see much
squirrel activity there -- the squirrels must be waiting the them to
ripen further.
