Marmota flaviventris (Yellow-bellied Marmot)

A yellow-bellied marmot (Marmota flaviventris) sits on a rock.  The yellow-bellied marmot is more colorful than the woodchuck (Marmota monax), and has lighter colored feet and more reddish fur around the neck than the hoary marmot (Marmota caligara) (Frase & Hoffman, 1980).
